Title: Promoting Efficient Use of Telecommunication Spectrum Through Elimination of s and Office of Barriers to the Development of Engineering and Secondary Markets. Technology. Summary: The Commission will consider a Notice of Proposed Rule Making concerning the promotion of secondary market mechanisms to facilitate efficient use of wireless spectrum in the public interest. 4................ Title: Principles for Encouraging Engineering and the Development of Secondary Technology and Markets for Spectrum. Wireless Telecommunication s. Summary: The Commission will consider a Policy Statement setting forth guiding principles for the promotion of secondary market mechanisms to facilitate efficient use of wireless spectrum in the public interest. 5................ Title: Implementation of Sections Telecommunication 309(j) and 337 of the s.
Communications Act of 1934 as Amended (WT Docket No. 99-87); Promotion of Spectrum Efficient Technologies on Certain Part 90 Frequencies (RM-9332); Establishment of Public Service Radio Pool in the Private Mobile Frequencies Below 800 MHz (RM- 9405); and Petition for Rule Making of The American Mobile Telecommunications Association (RM-9705). Summary: The Commission will consider a Report and Order and Further Notice of Proposed Rule Making regarding the Balanced Budget Act of 1997's statutory revisions to section 309(j) of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended, which governs the Commission's competitive bidding authority, and certain Petitions for Rule Making proposing revisions to the licensing rules for the public safety and private radio services.
