ACTION: Notice.

SUMMARY: This is a Notice of the Presidential declaration of a major disaster for Public Assistance Only for the State of ALASKA (FEMA-1843-

DR), dated 06/11/2009.

Incident: Flooding and Ice Jams.

Incident Period: 04/28/2009 and continuing.

Effective Date: 06/11/2009.

Physical Loan Application Deadline Date: 08/10/2009.

Economic Injury (EIDL) Loan Application Deadline Date: 03/11/2010.

Profit organizations that provide essential services of governmental nature may file disaster loan applications at the address listed above or other locally announced locations.

The following areas have been determined to be adversely affected by the disaster:

Primary Counties: Alaska Gateway Reaa (03); Kuspuk Reaa (29); Lower

Kuskokwim Reaa (31); Matanuska-Susitna Borough; Yukon Flats Reaa (51);

Yupiit Reaa (54).
