NAFTA-6486Midwest Electric Products, Inc., Mankato, MN; Notice of Termination of Investigation

Pursuant to section 221 of the Trade Act of 1974, an investigation was initiated on August 19, 2002, in response to a worker petition filedby a company official on behalf of workers at Midwest Electric Products, Inc., Mankato, Minnesota.

An active certification covering the petitioning group of workers remains in effect until October 12, 2002 (NAFTA-4090). Consequently, further investigation in this case would serve no purpose, and the investigation has been terminated.

Signed in Washington, DC, this 24th day of September, 2002. Richard Church, Certifying Officer, Division of Trade Adjustment Assistance.
