AGENCY: Federal Communications Commission.
ACTION: Proposed rule.
SUMMARY: This document requests comments on a petition for rule making filedby Linda A. Davidson requesting the allotment of Channel 241A to Mojave, California, as that community's second local FM transmission service. As Mojave is located within 320 kilometers (199 miles) of the U.S.-Mexico border, concurrence of the Mexican government to the requested allotment of Channel 241A at that community must be obtained. Coordinates used for this proposal are 35-06-11 NL; 118-10-22 WL.
DATES: Comments must be filedon or before January 31, 2000, and reply comments on or before February 15, 2000.

Provisions of the Regulatory Flexibility Act of 1980 do not apply to this proceeding.
