EPA Releases National Drinking Water Contaminant Occurrence Database (NCOD)

AGENCY: Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

ACTION: Notice.

SUMMARY: In response to the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) Amendments of 1996, the Office of Ground Water and Drinking Water (OGWDW) of U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) is announcing the July 30, 1999 release of the National Drinking Water Contaminant Occurrence Database (NCOD). The NCOD is a national level database that contains information on contaminants that occur or are likely to occur in public drinking supply systems. The database may be accessed on the internet at www.epa.gov/ncod/. There is a feedback form for questions and comments, or NCOD users may contact the Safe Drinking Water hot line at 1-800-426-4791 or E-mail to hotline-sdwa@epa.gov.
