ACTION: Notice of Extension of Public Comment Period.

SUMMARY: On December 30, 2011, the EPA published in the Federal Register our proposal to revise rules that pertain to the regional haze program. In the proposal, the EPA stated that public comments were to be submitted by February 13, 2012. In order to ensure that the public has a sufficient time to analyze our proposed rule, the EPA is extending the public comment period until February 28, 2012.

DATES: Comments. Comments on the proposed rule published December 30, 2011 (76 FR 82219) must be received on or before February 28, 2012.

    1. Submitting CBI. Do not submit this information to the EPA through www.regulations.gov or email. Clearly mark the part or all of the information that you claim to be CBI. For CBI information in a disk or CD ROM that you mail to the EPA, mark the outside of the disk or CD ROM as CBI and then identify electronically within the disk or CD ROM the specific information that is claimed as CBI. In addition to one complete version of the comment that includes information claimed as CBI, a copy of the comment that does not contain the information claimed as CBI must be submitted for inclusion in the public docket.
