National Fuel Gas Supply Corporation; Notice of Tariff Filing

June 3, 2003.

Take notice that on May 30, 2003, National Fuel Gas Supply Corporation (National) tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas Tariff, Fourth Revised Volume No. 1, Fifty Fifth Revised Sheet No. 9, to become effective June 1, 2003.

National states that the filing is made pursuant to a settlement approved by Commission Letter Order issued on February 16, 1996, in the proceedings in Docket Nos. RP94-367-000, et al. National explains that the settlement was revised in a subsequent Letter Order issued by the Commission on February 7, 2001.

National states that under Article II, section 2, of the settlement, it is required to recalculate the maximum Interruptible Gathering (IG) rate semi-annually and monthly. Further, National states that it is required to charge the recalculated monthly rate on the first day of the following month if the result is an IG rate more than 2 cents above or below the IG rate as calculated under section 1 of Article II. National asserts that the recalculation produced an IG rate of $1.21 per dth. National states that in addition, Article III, section 1 states that any overruns of the Firm Gathering service provided by National shall be priced at the maximum IG rate.

All such motions or protests must be filed in accordance with Sec. 154.210 of the Commission's regulations. Protests will be considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to the proceedings.
