El Paso Natural Gas Company; Notice of Compliance Filing

June 9, 1999.

Take notice that on June 2, 1999, El Paso Natural Gas Company (EL Paso) tendered for filing two contracts between El Paso and Dynegy Marketing and Trade.

El Paso states that the contracts are being filedto comply with the Commission's order, issued May 28, 1999 at Docket Nos. RP97-287- 032, that accepted tariff sheets reflecting the contracts, subject to the contracts being filedfor further review.

Any person desiring to protest said filing should file a protest with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, NE, Washington, DC 20426, in accordance with Section 385.211 of the Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such protests must be filedon or before June 16, 1999. Protests will be considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to the proceedings.
