Texas Eastern Transmission Corporation; Notice of Errata Filing

September 3, 1999.

Take notice that on August 30, 1999, Texas Eastern Transmission Corporation (Texas Eastern) tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas Tariff, Sixth Revised Volume No. 1, the following substitute tariff sheet to be effective September 23, 1999:

Sub Second Revised Sheet No. 456

Texas Eastern states that the sole purpose of this filing is to correct an inadvertent typographical error included in one of the tariff sheets filedby Texas Eastern on August 23, 1999 in its filing to include in its tariff a negotiated rates provision pursuant to the Alternative Rates Policy Statement [74 FERC 61,076 (1996)].

Texas Eastern states that copies of its filing have been mailed to all affected customers and interested state commissions.

Any person desiring to protest this filing should fileda protest with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, NE, Washington, DC 20426, in accordance with Section 385.211 of the Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such protests must be filedas provided in Section 154.210 of the Commission's Regulations. Protests will be considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to the proceedings.
