Agenda and Notice of Public Meeting of the South Carolina

Advisory Committee

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to the provisions of the rules and regulations of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights (Commission), and the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA), that a planning meeting of the South Carolina Advisory to the Commission will convene at 1 p.m. and adjourn at 3 p.m. on May 7, 2009, at 300 Senate Street, Columbia,

South Carolina 29201. The purpose of the meeting is for the Committee to discuss its report on parental notification of supplemental educational services under the No Child Left Behind Act.

Members of the public are entitled to submit written comments. The address is 61 Forsyth St., SW., Suite 18T40, Atlanta, Georgia 30303.

The meeting will be conducted pursuant to the rules and regulations of the Commission and FACA.
