mechanical, or other technological
collection techniques or other forms of
information technology. All responses
to this notice will be summarized and
included in the request for OMB
approval. All comments will become a
matter of public record.

: Announcement of public
meeting.
SUMMARY
: Notice is hereby given,
pursuant to the provisions of the rules
and regulations of the U.S. Commission
on Civil Rights (Commission) and the
Federal Advisory Committee Act that
the Connecticut Advisory Committee
(Committee) to the U.S. Commission on
Civil Rights will convene a briefing on
Thursday, September 7, 2023, at 10:00
a.m. (ET), at the Legislative Office
Building, Room 1C, 300 Capitol Avenue,
Hartford, CT 06106. The purpose of the
briefing is for the committee to hear
from panelists on the topic of voting
rights for incarcerated persons in
Connecticut.

make comments during the open period
at the end of the meeting. Members of
the public are entitled to submit written
comments; the comments must be
