AGENCY: Federal Communications Commission.

ACTION: Proposed rule.

SUMMARY: This document requests comments on a Petition for Rule Making filed by SSR Communications, Inc. (``Petitioner''), requesting the allotment of Channel 231C3 to Boardman, Oregon. To accommodate this allotment, Petitioner requested the reclassification of FM Station KCLK-FM, Channel 231C, Clarkston, Washington to specify operation on Channel 231C0, pursuant to the reclassification procedures adopted by the Commission. The Commission has recently reclassified Station KCLK- FM to Channel 231C0. Channel 231C3 can be allotted to Boardman, Oregon, with a site restriction of 18.5 kilometers (11.5 miles) west of Boardman, at reference coordinates of 45-53-51 NL and 119-55-21 WL.

DATES: Comments must be filed on or before May 22, 2006, and reply comments on or before June 6, 2006. Any counterproposal filed in this proceeding need only protect Station KCLK-FM, Clarkston, Washington, as a Class C0 allotment.
