ACTION: Proposed rule.

SUMMARY: This document requests comments on a petition filedby Katherine Pyeatt proposing the allotment of Channel 227A at Buffalo Gap, Texas, as that community's first local FM service. The coordinates for Channel 227A at Buffalo Gap are 32-16-55 and 99-53-54. There is a site restriction 6.5 kilometers (4.03 miles) west of the community.

DATES: Comments must be filedon or before October 22, 2001, and reply comments on or before November 11, 2001.

Provisions of the Regulatory Flexibility Act of l980 do not apply to this proceeding.
