Radio Broadcasting Services; Cedar Park and Killeen, TX

AGENCY: Federal Communications Commission.

ACTION: Proposed rule.

SUMMARY: This document requests comments on a petition filedby LBJS Broadcasting Company, LP, proposing the reallotment of Channel 227C from Killeen, Texas, to Cedar Park, Texas, as that community's first local service and modification of its license for Station KAJZ to specify Cedar Park as its community of license. The coordinates for Channel 227C at Cedar Park are 30-43-34 and 97-59-23. In accordance with Section 1.420(i) of the Commission's Rules, we shall not accept competing expressions of interest in the use of Channel 227C at Cedar Park or require petitioner to demonstrate the availability of an additional equivalent class channel for use by such parties.

DATES: Comments must be filedon or before November 16, 1998, and reply comments on or before December 1, 1998.
