AGENCY: Federal Communications Commission.

ACTION: Proposed rule.

SUMMARY: The Commission has before it a petition for rulemaking filed by Multimedia Holdings Corporation (``MHC''), the permittee of station

KNAZ-TV, channel 2, Flagstaff, Arizona. MHC is currently operating on its allotted pre-transition DTV channel 22 pursuant to Special

Temporary Authority (``STA''). MHC requests the substitution of channel 22 for channel 2 at Flagstaff.

DATES: Comments must be filed on or before August 28, 2009, and reply comments on or before September 8, 2009.

See 47 CFR 1.1204(b) for rules governing permissible ex parte contacts.

Communications Commission proposes to amend 47 CFR Part 73 as follows:

PART 73--RADIO BROADCAST SERVICES 1. The authority citation for part 73 continues to read as follows:

Authority: 47 U.S.C. 154, 303, 334, 336.

Sec. 73.622(i) [Amended] 2. Section 73.622(i), the Post-Transition Table of DTV Allotments under Arizona, is amended by adding DTV channel 22 and removing DTV channel 2 at Flagstaff.
