Federal Accounting Standards Advisory Board

AGENCY: General Accounting Office.

ACTION: Notice of Rescheduled Meeting on October 4-5, 1999.

SUMMARY: Pursuant to section 10(a)(2) of the Federal Advisory Committee Act (Pub. L. 92-463), as amended, notice is hereby given that the Federal Accounting Standards Advisory Board will hold a meeting on Monday, October 4, and Tuesday, October 5, from 9:00 to 12:00 noon, in room 7C13, the Comptroller General's Briefing Room, of the General Accounting Office building, 441 G St., NW, Washington, DC. This meeting was postponed from September 16 and 17.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss:

‹bullet› National Defense PP&E.

--project plan for Phase 2 --SARS reporting; issues and options

‹bullet› Direct Loan and Loan Guarantee Amendments.

--comments letters with summaries

‹bullet› Other Matters such as Reporting on Indian Trust Funds in Department of the Interior Financial Reports.

Any interested person may attend the meeting as an observer. Board discussions and reviews are open to the public.
