AGENCY: Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), DOT.

ACTION: Notice of proposed rulemaking; extension of comment period.

SUMMARY: This notice announces an extension of the comment period of a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM), which proposed to amend the Class E airspace at Alliance, NE. This action is being taken due to a delay in publication of the NPRM document.

DATES: Comments must be received on or before February 17, 1999.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:

Background

Airspace Docket No. 98-ACE-54, published on January 4, 1999 (64 FR 60) proposed to amend the Class E airspace at Alliance, NE. This action will extend the comment period closing date on that airspace docket from January 15, 1999, to February 17, 1999, to allow for a 45-day comment period instead of the existing 11 day comment period.
