The Department of Labor (DOL) hereby announces the submission the following public information collection request (ICR) to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review and approval in accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (Pub. L. 104-13, 44 U.S.C. chapter 35). Description: The information collected under the Benefits Timeliness and Quality (BTQ) Review System and associated forms (see above) is one of the primary means used by the Department to assess state Unemployment Insurance (UI) program performance levels and to ensure that the Secretary's oversight responsibilities for determining the proper and efficient administration of the UI program are carried out pursuant to the Social Security Act Title III, section 303(a)(1). State Workforce Agencies also use the BTQ performance measures for their internal UI program assessment.
