AGENCY: Federal Communications Commission.

ACTION: Proposed rule.

SUMMARY: The Commission requests comments on a petition filedby Television Fit-For-Life, Inc., licensee of station WFGX(TV), NTSC channel 35, Fort Walton Beach, Florida, requesting the substitution of DTV channel 50 for station WFGX(TV)'s assigned DTV channel 25. DTV channel 50 can be allotted to Fort Walton Beach, Florida, in compliance with the principle community coverage requirements of Section 73.625(a) at reference coordinates (30-24-12 N. and 86-59-34 W.). As requested, we propose to allot DTV Channel 50 to Fort Walton Beach with a power of 1000 and a height above average terrain (HAAT) of 221 meters.

DATES: Comments must be filedon or before January 16, 2001, and reply comments on or before January 31, 2001.

Provisions of the Regulatory Flexibility Act of 1980 do not apply to this proceeding.
