AGENCY: Federal Communications Commission.

ACTION: Proposed rule.

SUMMARY: The Commission requests comments on a petition filedby KVVU Broadcasting Corporation, licensee of station KVVU-TV, NTSC Channel 5, Henderson, Nevada, requesting the substitution of DTV Channel 9 for station KVVU-TV's assigned DTV Channel 24. DTV Channel 9 can be allotted to Henderson, Nevada, in compliance with the principle community coverage requirements of section 73.625(a) at reference coordinates (36-00-28 N. and 115-00-24 W.). As requested, we propose to allot DTV Channel 9 to Henderson with a power of 85.6 and a height above average terrain (HAAT) of 407 meters.

DATES: Comments must be filedon or before November 27, 2000, and reply comments on or before December 12, 2000.

Provisions of the Regulatory Flexibility Act of 1980 do not apply to this proceeding.
