Declaration of Disaster #3118; State of Tennessee

As a result of the President's major disaster declaration on July 23, 1998 for Public Assistance, and an amendment thereto on July 28, 1998 adding Individual Assistance, I find that Lawrence and Lewis Counties in the State of Tennessee constitute a disaster area due to damages caused by severe storms and flooding beginning on July 13, 1998 and continuing through July 28, 1998. Applications for loans for physical damages as a result of this disaster may be fileduntil the close of business on September 26, 1998, and for loans for economic injury until the close of business on April 28, 1999 at the address listed below or other locally announced locations: U.S. Small Business Administration, Disaster Area 2 Office, One Baltimore Place, Suite 300, Atlanta, GA 30308.

In addition, applications for economic injury loans from small businesses located in the following contiguous counties may be filed until the specified date at the above location: Giles, Hickman, Maury, Perry, and Wayne Counties in Tennessee, and Lauderdale and Limestone Counties in Alabama.
