Take notice that on January 5, 2010, the Deputy Secretary of the
Department of Energy, pursuant to the authority vested by sections 301(b), 302(a), 402(e), 641, 642, 643, and 644, and by Delegation Order
Nos. 00-037.00 (December 6, 2001) and 00-001.00C (January 31, 2007), confirmed, approved, and placed in effect on an interim basis in Rate
Order SWPA-62, Southwestern Power Administration Integrated System
Rates, Rate Schedule P-09, Wholesale Rates for Hydro Peaking Power,
Rate Schedule NFTS-09, Wholesale Rates for Non-Federal Transmission/
Interconnection Facilities Service, and Rate Schedule EE-09, Wholesale
Rate for Excess Energy, for period January 1, 2010 through September 30, 2013.
Any person desiring to intervene or to protest this filing must file in accordance with Rules 211 and 214 of the Commission's Rules of
Practice and Procedure (18 CFR 385.211, 385.214). Protests will be considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to the proceeding. Any person wishing to become a party must file a notice of intervention or motion to intervene, as appropriate. Such notices, motions, or protests must be filed on or before the comment date. On or before the comment date, it is not necessary to serve motions to intervene or protests on persons other than the Applicant.
