Cinergy Services, Inc.; Notice of Filing

February 23, 1998.

Take notice that on February 11, 1998, Cinergy Services, Inc. (Cinergy) tendered for filing a service agreement under Cinergy's Power Sales Standard Tariff (the Tariff) entered into between Cinergy and NGE Generation, Inc., (NGE).

Cinergy and NGE are requesting an effective date of one day after the filing of this Power Sales Service Agreement.

Any person desiring to be heard or to protest said filing should file a motion to intervene or protest with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, N.E., Washington, D.C. 20426, in accordance with Rules 211 and 214 of the Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure (18 CFR 385.211 and 18 CFR 385.214). All such motions and protests must be filedon or before March 6, 1998. Protests will be considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to the proceeding. An person wishing to become a party must file a motion to intervene. Copies of this filing are on file with the Commission and are available for public inspection. David P.
