Viking Gas Transmission Company; Notice of Compliance Filing

June 7, 2002.

Take notice that on May 31, 2002, Viking Gas Transmission Company (Viking) tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas Tariff, First Revised Volume No. 1, the following tariff sheets to be effective July 1, 2002.

Viking states that the purpose of this filing is to comply with the Offer of Settlement and Stipulation and Agreement (Settlement) filedby Viking on March 16, 1999 in the above-referenced docket and approved by the Commission by order issued May 12, 1999 by filing to place the Stage 4 Settlement Rates into effect in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Settlement.

Viking states that copies of this filing have been served on all parties designated on the official service list in this proceeding, on all of Viking's jurisdictional customers and to affected state regulatory Commissions.

Any person desiring to protest said filing should file a protest with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, NE ., Washington, DC 20426, in accordance with Section 385.211 of the Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such protests must be filedin accordance with Section 154.210 of the Commission's Regulations. Protests will be considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to the proceedings. Copies of this filing are on file with the Commission and are available for public inspection.
