South Georgia Natural Gas Company; Notice of Proposed Changes to FERC Gas Tariff

April 20, 1999.

Take notice that on April 15, 1999, South Georgia Natural Gas Company (South Georgia) tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas Tariff, Second Revised Volume No. 1, the following tariff sheets to become effective April 1, 1999:

First Revised Sheet No. 17a Second Revised Sheet No. 18 First Revised Sheet No. 35a Third Revised Sheet No. 36 First Revised Sheet No. 88 First Substitute Fifth Revised Sheet No. 98

South Georgia states that the purpose of this filing is to comply with the Commission's letter order dated March 31, 1999 in the above- referenced dockets.

South Georgia states that copies of the filing will be served upon its shippers and interested state commissions.

Any person desiring to protest this filing should file a protest with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, NE, Washington, DC 20426, in accordance with Section 385.211 of the Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such protests must be filedas provided in Section 154.210 of the Commission's Regulations. Protests will be considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to the proceedings.
