ACTION: Notice of open meeting.

SUMMARY: This notice announces a meeting of the Hydrogen Technical Advisory Panel (HTAP). Federal Advisory Committee Act (Pub. L. 92-463, 86 Stat. 770, as amended), requires that public notice of these meetings be announced in the Federal Register.

DATES: Monday, October 29, 2001, 8:30 A.M.-6 P.M. Tuesday, October 30, 2001, 8:30 A.M.-2:30 P.M.

Public Participation: This meeting is open to the public. Written statements may be filedwith the Committee either before or after the meeting. Request must be received 5 days prior to the meeting and a reasonable provision will be make to include the presentations in the agenda. The Designated Federal Officer is empowered to conduct the meeting in a fashion that will facilitate the orderly conduct of business. Each individual wishing to make public comment will be provided a maximum of 5 minutes to present their comments. This notice is being published less than 15 days before the date of the meeting due to the late resolution of programmatic issues.
