The Federal Communications Commission will hold an Open Meeting on the subjects listed below on Tuesday, June 9, 1998, which is scheduled to commence at 3:00 p.m. in Room 856, at 1919 M Street, NW., Washington, D.C.

    Commission will consider action concerning the collection levels for the schools and libraries and rural health care universal service support mechanisms for the third and fourth quarters of 1998.

    Telephone Company, Pacific Bell, and

    Nevada Bell for Waiver of Sections 61.44-45 of the Commission's Rules (CCB/CPD 98-19). Summary: The

    Commission will consider action concerning issues

    related to local exchange carrier recovery of universal service contribution obligations.
