National Committee on Vital and Health Statistics: Meeting

Pursuant to the Federal Advisory Committee Act, the Department of Health and Human Services Announces the Following Advisory Committee Meeting.

Name: National Committee on Vital and Health Statistics (NCVHS), Workgroup on Computer-based Patient Records.

Time and Date: 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m., May 17, 1999; 9 a.m.-5 p.m., May 18, 1999.

Place: Agency for Health Care Policy and Research (AHCPR), AHCPR Conference Center, Conference Rooms C and D, 6010 Executive Boulevard, 4th Floor, Rockville, MD 20852.

Status: Open.

Purpose: At this meeting, the workgroup will hear a series of panel presentations on clinical vocabularies, terminologies, statistical classifications and code sets, clinical specific code sets, medical code sets, nursing code sets, and drug and device code sets.
