ACTION
: Notice and opportunity for
public comment.
SUMMARY
: The Economic Development
Administration (EDA) has received
petitions for certification of eligibility to
apply for Trade Adjustment Assistance
from the firms listed below.
Accordingly, EDA has initiated
investigations to determine whether
increased imports into the United States
of articles like or directly competitive
with those produced by each of the
firms contributed importantly to the
total or partial separation of the firms’
workers, or threat thereof, and to a
decrease in sales or production of each
petitioning firm.

Ripe Olives From Spain: Preliminary
Results of Countervailing Duty
Administrative Review; 2017–2018

SUMMARY
: The Department of Commerce
(Commerce) is conducting an
administrative review of the
countervailing duty (CVD) order on ripe
olives from Spain. Commerce
preliminarily determines that exporters/
producers of ripe olives from Spain
received countervailable subsidies
during the period of review, November
28, 2017 through December 31, 2018.
Interested parties are invited to
comment on these preliminary results.

:
Background
On October 7, 2019, Commerce
published the notice of initiation of an
administrative review of the CVD order
on ripe olives from Spain.

On April 24,
2020, Commerce tolled all deadlines in
administrative reviews by 50 days.

On
May 26, 2020, Commerce extended the
deadline for the preliminary results of
this review by 120 days.

On July 21,
2020, Commerce tolled deadlines for
preliminary and final results in
administrative reviews by an additional
60 days.

Accordingly, the deadline for
the preliminary results of this review
was postponed to December 18, 2020.
