National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants for Source Categories: National Emission Standards for Primary Copper Smelters: Proposed Rule--Extension of Public Comment Period

AGENCY: Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

ACTION: Proposed rule; extension of public comment period.

SUMMARY: The EPA is extending the public comment period on the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) for hazardous air pollutants emissions from primary copper smelters, which was published in the Federal Register on April 20, 1998 (63 FR 19582). The purpose of this document is to extend the end of the comment period from June 19, 1998 to July 20, 1998, in order to provide commenters adequate time to review the NPRM and extensive supporting materials.

DATES: The EPA will accept comments on the NPRM until July 20, 1998.
