AGENCY: Federal Communications Commission.

ACTION: Proposed rule.

SUMMARY: This document requests comments on a petition filedby Charles Crawford proposing the allotment of Channel 257A at Paragould, Arkansas, providing the community with additional local FM service. The coordinates for Channel 257A at Paragould are 36-06-55 and 90-26-53. There is a site restriction 7.9 kilometers (4.9 miles) northeast of the community.

DATES: Comments must be filedon or before December 3, 2001, and reply comments on or before December 18, 2001.
