AGENCY: Federal Communications Commission.

ACTION: Proposed rule.

SUMMARY: This document requests comments on a petition for rule making filedon behalf of Tom F. Huth, permittee of Station KTOR(FM), Channel 259A, Chester, California, requesting the reallotment of Channel 259A from Chester to Westwood, California, and modification of its authorization accordingly, pursuant to the provisions of section 1.420(i) of the Commission's rules. The coordinates for requested Channel 259A at Westwood, California are 40-14-21 NL and 121-1-52 WL.

Petitioner's reallotment proposal complies with the provisions of section 1.420(i) of the Commission's rules, and therefore, the Commission will not accept competing expressions of interest in the use of Channel 259A at Westwood, California, or require the petitioner to demonstrate the availability of an additional equivalent class channel.

DATES: Comments must be filedon or before April 22, 2002, and reply comments on or before May 7, 2002.
