AGENCY: Federal Communications Commission.

ACTION: Proposed rule.

SUMMARY: This document requests comments on a petition for rule making filedon behalf of Washington County Communications requesting the allotment of Channel 236A at Ebro, Florida, as the community's first local broadcast service. Channel 236A can be allotted to Ebro with a site restriction 3.3 kilometers (2.0 miles) northwest of the community at coordinates 30-28-15 and 85-53-45.

DATES: Comments must be filedon or before May 1, 2000, and reply comments on or before May 16, 2000.

Provisions of the Regulatory Flexibility Act of 1980 do not apply to this proceeding.
