AGENCY: Federal Communications Commission.

ACTION: Proposed rule.

SUMMARY: The Commission requests comments on a petition for rule making filedby H. David Hedrick proposing the allotment of Channel 245A to Butler, GA, as the community's first local aural service. Channel 245A can be allotted to Butler in compliance with the Commission's minimum distance separation requirements without the imposition of a site restriction, at coordinates 32-33-25 NL; 84-14-18 WL.

DATES: Comments must be filedon or before March 5, 2001, and reply comments on or before March 20, 2001.
