Radio Broadcasting Services; Bordelonville, LA

AGENCY: Federal Communications Commission.

ACTION: Proposed rule.

SUMMARY: The Commission requests comments on a petition for rule making filedby Bramah Broadcasting proposing the allotment of Channel 280A to Bordelonville, LA, as the community's first local aural transmission service. Channel 280A can be allotted to Butler in compliance with the Commission's minimum distance separation requirements without the imposition of a site restriction, at coordinates 31-06-18 North Latitude and 91-54-26 West Longitude.

DATES: Comments must be filedon or before May 7, 2001, and reply comments on or before May 22, 2001.

Provisions of the Regulatory Flexibility Act of 1980 do not apply to this proceeding.
