AGENCY: Federal Communications Commission.

ACTION: Proposed rule.

SUMMARY: The Commission requests comments on a petition filedby Don Davis proposing the allotment of Channel 270A at Milan, New Mexico, as the community's second local FM transmission service. Channel 270A can be allotted to Milan in compliance with the Commission's minimum distance separation requirements at city reference coordinates. The coordinates for Channel 270A Milan are 35-10-11 North Latitude and 107- 53-24 West Longitude.

DATES: Comments must be filedon or before April 22, 2002, reply comments on or before May 7, 2002.

Provisions of the Regulatory Flexibility Act of 1980 do not apply to this proceeding.
