AGENCY: Federal Communications Commission.

ACTION: Proposed rule.

SUMMARY: This document requests comments on a petition filedby Mountain West Broadcasting proposing the allotment of Channel 246C2 to Neihart, Montana, as that community's first local broadcast service. The channel can be allotted to Neihart without a site restriction at coordinates 46-56-18 NL and 110-44-18 WL. Canadian concurrence will be requested for the allotment of Channel 246C2 at Neihart.

DATES: Comments must be filedon or before March 22, 1999, and reply comments on or before April 6, 1999.

Provisions of the Regulatory Flexibility Act of l980 do not apply to this proceeding.
