AGENCY: Federal Communications Commission.

ACTION: Proposed rule.

SUMMARY: This document requests comments on a petition filedby Charles Crawford requesting the allotment of Channel 291A at Comfort, Texas. The coordinates for Channel 291A at Comfort are 29-58-06 and 98-54-54. Mexican concurrence will be requested for the allotment of Channel 291A at Comfort.

DATES: Comments must be filedon or before August 20, 2001, and reply comments on or before September 4, 2001.

Provisions of the Regulatory Flexibility Act of 1980 do not apply to this proceeding.
