AGENCY: Federal Communications Commission.

ACTION: Proposed rule.

SUMMARY: This document requests comments on a petition filedby Arturo Lopez and Eleazar Trevino, proposing the allotment of Channel 236A to Rio Grande City, Texas. The channel can be allotted to Rio Grande City with a site restriction 5.79 kilometers (3.6 miles) north of the community. The coordinates for Channel 236A are 26-25-47 and 98-49-25. Concurrence of the Mexican government will be requested for this allotment.

DATES: Comments must be filedon or before November 30, 1998, and reply comments on or before December 15, 1998.

Provisions of the Regulatory Flexibility Act of l980 do not apply to this proceeding.
