Conflicts of Interest in Major Defense Acquisition Programs

AGENCY: Defense Acquisition Regulations System, Department of Defense

(DoD).

ACTION: Proposed rule with request for comments; extension of comment period.

SUMMARY: DoD is proposing to amend the Defense Federal Acquisition

Regulation Supplement (DFARS) to implement section 207 of the Weapons

System Acquisition Reform Act of 2009. The comment period is being extended an additional 30 days to provide additional time for interested parties to review the proposed DFARS changes.

DATES: Comments on the proposed rule should be submitted in writing to the address shown below on or before July 21, 2010, to be considered in the formation of the final rule.

DoD published a proposed rule in the Federal Register on April 22, 2010 (75 FR 20954), with a request for comment by June 21, 2010. DoD is extending the comment period for 30 additional days to provide an additional time for interested parties to review the proposed DFARS changes.
